Delivery model

You should always know what is shipping this week

One model across every engagement: a small pod, a public backlog, a weekly demo and a monthly report that includes the things that went wrong. No status theatre.

The pod

Who actually turns up

A pod is four to six people with one accountable lead. It scales by adding pods, not by adding layers between you and the engineers.

Delivery lead

Owns the outcome and the backlog. In every client conversation, and technical enough to argue about the architecture.

Meet a lead

Data engineers

Pipelines, platform and observability. On call during the engagement and responsible for the runbooks you inherit.

Meet a lead

Analytics engineer

The semantic layer, the tests and the documentation. Usually the person your analysts end up learning the most from.

Meet a lead

ML / AI engineer

Joins when there is a model or an agent in scope, and stays through evaluation and monitoring rather than handing over at deployment.

Delivery model

How the work actually runs

One delivery model, whatever the engagement. You always know what is shipping this week and what it is worth.

01

Discovery

We map your sources, decisions and blockers, understand the business goal, and agree what success looks like before anything is built.

02

Solution design

We design the architecture, data models and use cases — right-sized to your team and your cloud — and cost the work before you commit.

03

Development

Weekly sprints against a visible backlog: pipelines, models, dashboards and applications, all in version control and yours from day one.

04

Testing & validation

Every pipeline and model is tested — with frameworks like PyTest and Great Expectations — so the numbers are trustworthy before they ship.

05

Deployment & training

We deploy into your cloud and train the people who will run it, so the capability lands with your team, not just our code.

06

Support & optimisation

Observability, alerting and continuous improvement keep the system fast, accurate and cost-efficient long after go-live.

Cadence

What a week looks like

Predictability is most of what clients say they are buying. This is the rhythm, and it does not change once the project gets difficult.

  • Monday — sprint plan published to a backlog you can read without asking
  • Wednesday — working session with your team, screens shared, no slides
  • Friday — demo of what actually runs, plus what slipped and why
  • Monthly — health report: freshness, test coverage, incidents, cost and burn
  • Quarterly — value review against the baseline we took in week one

FAQ

Questions buyers actually ask

Straight answers. If yours is not here, ask us on a call — we will tell you if we are the wrong fit.

Ask a question

Engagements run on 30 days' notice after the initial scope. Everything we have built is already in your repositories, and the runbooks are written as we go rather than at the end.

Assessments and discrete builds are fixed-scope and fixed-price. Managed pods are a monthly rate. We do not bill by the hour, because it rewards the wrong behaviour.

Roughly a day a week from a business owner and a technical counterpart during active delivery. Less than that and the handover suffers; more and we are not doing our job.

Yes, and we often do. We will tell you plainly where responsibilities overlap and where we think you are paying twice.

Next step

Ready to find out what your data is worth?

Thirty minutes with a delivery lead, not a salesperson. You leave with a point of view on your highest-value use case and what it takes to ship it.
